Some key questions are beginning to emerge around my digital ethnography such as what is the main focus of the study?  My inital thoughts were something around the idea of how participant behaviour changes when the course tutor is part of the thread, do participants become more accomodating to others in a bid to impress the tutor?, does the appearance of the tutor within a discussion scare participants off?.  I am also wondering how I should present myself online during the MOOC incase it effects the behaviour of others.  Is there a need to dicuss my ethnography with other paricipants or stay on the fringes and simply observe?

The discussions are rather pleasant within the MOOC so far, however some participants are certainly a lot more vocal and suggestive.
