A machine with the awareness and potential to destory our technological world from the inside is a little far-fetched, however,  the notion that machines can interact with us on an emotional level isnt too extreme.  A machine that thinks and reacts like a human could be the catalyst for the robot revelotion we have predicted over the last century, or perhaps open opportunities for synthetic communications between humans and robots.
