New Video! – “she pioneered”
This was an experimental algorithmic play to determine if there is any discernible gender bias in the Google Search engine based on a search of the words – “she pioneered.” No explicit gender bias was revealed in the Google Search engine itself.
The algorithm produced valid search results for “she pioneered” without explicit gender bias. However, it did seem the Twitter postings captured by the Google Search were slightly skewed towards discrimination of women or abuse issues. This tentative finding merits further research gender bias on Twitter.
