This is really interesting! ….. looking through the discussion board threads for the MOOC I have enrolled on, I clicked on the thread dedicated to socialising/support networks Fascinating to see how many threads were set up by people looking for other students from similar geographical areas and/or ethnic backgrounds. New mobilities paradigm in action, but why does geography/ethnicity continue to play such an important part on (online) learning identity?
